Best rap/ hip hop keyboard (to make beats)???!
Question: i want to buy a new keyboard for rap hip hop, mostly east coast / dirty south sounds, lots of cool drums and sounds... anything in that range... mostly beats like swizz beats and stuff like that. but yea let me know.... if you know lol...

Korg Triton/ Roland Fantom/ Yamaha Motif is all considered "top of the line" but they all cost over $2,000, but you could bet the yamaha mm6 for a lil over $600... my suggestion is to go software for now, you can get Cubase or Reason ( $400-800) and the m-audio axiom49 ($250) and *GET DOWN* you can go even cheaper than that if you want to, let me know the price range you workin with
Korg Triton series..Roland Fanthom...Yahamha Motif series...M Audio oxygen series...if you are looking for something cheaper...They come with preloaded sounds and can sample with them also...they work with drum machines and computer programs like Protools...etc
dont buy a cheap keyboard..but an mpc 1000 and cut and paste the samples at you can get online for free
