He was a good performer and had some good songs....but i agree with the Joe..Old would be Hank Williams , Bill Monroe , Ernest Tubb , Patsy Cline , Porter Wagnor , Roy Acuff , and even lil Jimmy Dickens......some of the Ol' Time greats........
if Rick Scaggs and Steve Wariner are old to you....geesh you must be a young'n yourself .......

Actually Ricky Scaggs isn't even old country. Old Country is Hank Williams, Sr.; Ernest Tubb; Bill Monroe; etc.
Steve is not old enough to be old country.
