try some Dire Straits - they tend to have a lot of instrumental.
if you want ones without lyrics, there's a compilation called Pure Moods, it's got relaxing songs, some have lyrics but others are instrumental - stuff like Chariots of Fire etc.
also Enya, or Clannad - Enya's solo songs in particular have mostly instrumental, mostly piano.
Look up Earl Klugh,
he is a VERY tasteful, easy listening jazz guitarist. I think even the weather channel uses his music from time to time

you could always play some classical music but that usually puts me to sleep.
