Critics always criticize rap music, but whats more violent, hip hop or hollywood!
Question: Hollywood is more violent ,example: the Saw movies. It's okay for the film makers in Hollywood to make violent films, but if a rapper writes a song about killing people it's like somebodies mama died or something.

Lemme just ask you this? have you ever seen a rap artist in trouble for actually shooting someone? or is it more of a media image?
I think they feed off each other. Rap artists and actors both glamorize an unattainable lifestyle and make it hard for people to see the line between truth and entertainment.
The media is violent in general. It doesn't matter which form.
But to answer your question I think that Hollywood is more violent.
