You Give Love A Bad Name

Over the Rainbow gets covered like 15 times a year. I'd go with that >_>

Not too sure, I don't think I've ever bothered to look or wonder for that matter. The first place I would start in my opinion would be with the band Ten Masked Men which is a death metal band that only covers number one hit songs. After going through their albums I would research the songs they covered and they've released about fives albums I believe of nothing but covers.

YESTERDAY

Probably the song "Black Coffee"- it's a jazz tune, almost every modern jazz musician has covered it.

Don't forget "all along the watchtower".

The correct answer is "Yesterday" by The Beatles. The actual figure varies according to source. The Guinness Book Of Records figure is only one estimate, but most people agree it's over 1,500 versions.

A more interesting question would be: "What is the most-sampled song?", because that has no official answer.

These guys think it's "Nautilus" by Bob James, but just look at the spectacular tally of James Brown and Parliament, who have several songs each:

Sadly, I just think this proves that older artists could write more memorable riffs and hooks than today's. How sad is it that Sean Paul sells records on the back of Ben E King?

For me, Time After Time.

I'm going with "Born To Be Wild"
I've got a ton of covers of that song!

little wing, my generation and yesterday it seems
