Check out Meg & Dia! What I love about this band is that most of their songs are based off of books. For example, East Of Eden by John Steinbeck inspired their song "Monster," and Mary by Vladimir Nabokov inspired "Tell Mary." I don't know if you like to read or not, but they've introduced me to a lot of great literature, which is another bonus. Listen to the songs "Cardigan Weather," "Roses," and "Courage, Robert."
Daphne Loves Derby is really good too. They just put out a new album earlier this year, called Good Night, Witness Light, which I think is definitely their best so far. Check out the songs "Pollen And Salt," "Cue The Sun," "Hopeless Love," and "Patterns And How They Change The Visible World."
Also try The Like. They've released several EPs plus an album so far. I saw them open for Muse a while ago, and they were amazing live, so if you ever get the chance to see them, do it. I really like the songs "What I Say And What I Mean," "June Gloom," and "Falling Away," but the whole album is really solid. They're also working on a new album right now, it should come out sometime next year.
