Minneapolis hip hop?!
Question: i'm absolutely fortunate to have grown up around such an amazing hip hop scene. i'm talking aesop rock, atmosphere, eyedea & abilities, brother ali, cannibal ox... among others. eyedea is by far the best free styler out there. if you haven't hear him, you really should. he delivers great messages. and having the privilege to speak to him after a show once, he is extremely down to earth.
anyways, if you've actually heard some mpls hip hop and know what you're talking about, i'd like to hear what you have to say :]

Atmosphere and Aesop are ridiculous! Sadly, I have never llistened to Cannibal Ox, and at the moment, he's number 4 on my list of artists to dissect next, ironically in front of Ali...didn't know they were from Minneapolis though. I thought Minneapolis was a city that was hit or miss with their musicians, but just those names alone give them respect.
Any suggestions on where to begin with Ox?
