i'm trying to think of more songs like that. i listen to them all the time! umm greensleeves is good. theres way more i listen to, i'll look them up and get back to you.

Most people who like classical music are a bit over the cannon in D ; it has been done to death. Same with Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata.
There are thousands of other better pieces than these.

Beethoven's 6th symphony
Bach's solo works for cello
Chopin : any of his piano works but start with Fantasy Impromptu in C# minor
Mozart : violin concertos numbers 3 and 5
Sarasate : any of his pieces for violin.
Rodrigo's guitar concerto

You can find all of these on youtube if you want to check them out.

Try the "Swan" from carnival of the animals by Saint-Saens.

on You Tube
Adagio in G Minor by Albinoni ....
von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic
^^ this is a really good reading of the piece, very dramatic and beautiful

(for a history of the piece, go to the one on YouTube, using this exact title:
Adagio in G Minor (Albinoni)
^^ open up the place on the right side of the screen that says in blue "more" and there is a note to read

Vivaldi Four Seasons
Bach Air on a G String
Bach 'cello suite in G

Yea, I've heard of Pachebel Canon, it is a very nice piece and I've even decided to play it at this farwell, seems good for a farewell, i think.
There's also this wonderful piece, I'm not sure if this is the name, but it says on top: From Cantata no. 147
It's composer is Bach, and theres also this piece that is a bit sad, its called: Moonstone Mood by Randell Hartsell

you should try this song called tis the last rose of summer or somewhere by celtic women they are a classical group.
