Classic Country Music Fans--Wonder why it is like this?!
Question: There are many classic country music artists but I have always wondered why the people from the west coast IE: the ones that helped make the Bakersfield sound are for the most part ignored when it comes to the Country Music Hall of fame? What are your thoughts on this?

They snubbed Nashville, and Nashville snubbed back
I'm not sure, but I would have to say that the west coast artists usually tend to be more outspoken and a little more rowdy and rebellious.
In my opinion.
I would have to say just thinking about it that the west coast artists did not bend to the Nashville way of thinking so then Nashville chose to disown them. Then again that sounds alot like what is happening today with so called country.
MillersCave has it. They made it without sucking up to Chet Atkins and the other Nashville establishment, and Nashville will never forget.
