Need tips on swtiching from trumpet to tuba!?!

Question: I am a fairly advanced trumpet player. I'm a freshman in my high school's marching band (one of the best in the state) but one of our tuba (sousaphone, since we do a lot of competitions and parades) players moved, and my director wants me to play tuba for him. I looked over some material he gave me, but I'm a little bit confused. Can anyone give me tips on switching from trumpet to tuba?

You have to blow a lot more, but both are brass. Tuba is a bass clef, unlike a trumpet. You have to do way less work on a tuba, but it's not the easiest instrument! All cows eat grass is how you remember the notes on the space of the staff, and good boys do fine always is the lines on the staff(from the bottom). Remember, a trumpet has notes above the staff, a tuba has notes under the staff.
