Dolly Parton or Patsy Cline, who's your favourite?!
Question: I love Dolly Parton, not only is she an amazing songwriter and singer, but she has amazing comic timing. I have one of her concerts on dvd, and if I wasn't singing along (badly I may add), I was laughing at the jokes, one liners and audience interaction that she was coming away with. That kinda talent can't be taught, it's just pure from the start.

Dolly Parton get a few drinks down me and i start to sing 9 til 5 really loud, crank it up on the stereo then wonder what my neighbours must have thought in the morning. I also love to daddy + loads more.
I like Patsy better than Dolly...but I like Tammy Wynette the best of all.
i like dolly....you should check out Gillian Welch...great songwriter think you like her if u like dolly.. :)

Love Patsy, I remember my dad listening to her music when I was a little girl.

Patsy for sure. She would have set the standard for all others to follow if she wasn't taken away so quickly. Dolly has had good breaks in the business due to her looks (from the neck down)

Patsy. Dolly's great, too. But Patsy's voice is absolutely classic. Her songs still give me chills. And I agree with the Tammy Wynette comment! Best song I know is Stand by your Man sung by Tammy and Patsy.
Well they are both equally great in their own right, but I would have to pick Patsy Cline. A fellow Virginian!
i like both chick but dolly has the edge i love her singing "i will always love you " it always makes me cry xx

Gotta go with Ms.Patsy Cline. I'd go "Walking after midnight" with her anytime. So she could tell me how "Crazy" she is about me, Then I'd go home and have "Sweet dreams" about her all night:)
I'm partial to anything by Dolly Parton but no one can beat Patsy Cline singing Crazy and Walking After Midnight.
