The original one was by Miss Barefoot of the 1960s. Miss Sandie Shaw. The song charted on the 8 October 1964, reached the top spot and stayed in charts for 11 weeks. Label was PYE. Catalogue no.7N 15704. The rest is just cover version, so in reality it is not 80's trivia.
