Why did Kevin leave the Backstreet Boys?!
Question: Just curious...you would think that after having been in the band for like, 10 years and all those albums and world tours that he would feel a loss for leaving the band. plus he's probably good friends with the other guys. so why did he leave?

Um because he is no longer a BOY. He realized that there is a time to stop....
The Backstreet Boys started out as a part time gig that ended up consuming his whole life. He left to pursue his his real passion: particle physics. He now has a PhD and teaches at MIT.
