I don't think it's anything famous. It is probably something taken either from a stock music library or something written by an unknown composer. There are many pieces out there that sound like it...I can give you examples of things that are somewhat similar (and, in my opinion (don't hate me), of a much higher quality in terms of composition and musical integrity):
Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor
Rachmaninoff - Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
Chopin - Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor
Grieg - Piano Concerto in A minor (esp the 2nd mvt)
Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto No. 1 in Bb Major
These are all pieces that have a piano soloist with orchestra in the background. They are very Romantic and famous pieces in the piano repertoire. I think you will really enjoy them. I hope you will enjoy the compositional integrity of these pieces...they are true works of art. :)
It is not classical music. It is background music written for a movie or TV show.
