Why do so many people steal music from musicians?!
Question: It makes me sick when people down load music files,
it is wrong and Illegal ,
us musicians work hard to bring you good music for your pleasure and you, claim to be loyal fans of ours, and then turn around and steal from us,
what kind of loyalty is this to steal from us?
How can you say that you are a loyal fan and then steal ?
If I ever cought some one with a burn copy of my music I would drag their ***'s to court and have them charged with theft
and then I would sue.
So next time you go to a show and get all excited rember that if you have burn copys of the bands music your no more than a theif

Probably because art should not be the property of any one and by buying an album your only giving a minor amout to the artist and allot to the companys who "brought" the right to sell it.
What about the really rich ones though?
Whats the difference, you can hear it from the radio for free? Music should be free and they should make all their money from concerts. So you think they are not overcharing? One guy writes one good sond and it a millionare? Flippen stupid if you ask me, people are idiots for paying for it

because people don't want to buy a whole cd when they only like couple songs. nice rant by the way....it will really change everyones mind.
If you really want to support the artist, you are better off going to a concert and buying merchandise, or just sending them a check. The artists get so little of the money you spend on the overpriced albums that it's not really them you are stealing from, it's the record labels. And personally, I have no problem doing that, since they are stealing from the artists.
Next time you have a show, I'm bringing a recorder and bootlegging your $h!t. It costs 16 cents to make a CD...why charge 16-25 bucks for the final product? THAT is why people do it. Besides, it's played on the radio and doesn't cost me anything...what's the difference if I make a cd and listen to it once in a blue moon?
Why don't you explain to us, why you have to RIP us off at concerts? Inflated ticket prices, and over priced cd's.
A cd costs about $1.00 to produce these days, and they still charge us $14.00 - $17.00 for it. And you think that's fair for 45 minutes of music?

Technically stealing music would be covering the band's songs and saying that you wrote them.
If you are good enough that people want to download your music, then chances are you are rich enough and don't need the money.
Why are musicians so greedy...why can't they just be honored that their messages are able to get to people who can't afford to buy their albums?

I used to download from limewire about 2 years ago when I was on a limited income because I was in college and had a crappy job. Back then I would listen to a song if I liked many songs from that same album I would go to best buy and purchase that album. Things seem to be more organized when you have the real album and not a bunch of burned cds that have no labels or song indexes. Now that I am out of college and making a lot more money I don't bother using limewire. I may only use limewire if I am looking for an old rare song that Itunes doesn't offer.
