Grampa Jones & Stringbean, plus of course Minnie Pearl! She was such a gracious, elegant lady when not in costume, just beautiful. Never saw the duo above as 'real people' but Gr. J. on the phone always had me laughin' till the next act came on & I got 'hushed'. Speck Rhodes was funny also, was I mistaken & he was the one always on the phone? Lotta miles down the road since then!

I,m not sure if they are around anymore but Pinkered and Bowden were hilarious. I liked their "Trailer park Woman" and their parody of Eric Claptons song "Cocaine" They did one called "Propane"

Jim Stafford and Ray Stevens.

I'm goin' to the wagon these shoes are killin me, I think my favorite of all will always be Ms, Minnie Pearl, the legend in my books.

Classic? Homer and Jethro

Ray Stevens...I've never seen any country comedians except him and Cletus T. Judd.
I remember that Hee Haw was funny..

But now that I know there's more of them, I can check them all out and get a good laugh, which is something that's needed every now and then...
