Can someone help me find a Scottish bagpipe CD?!
Question: I was in Scotland a couple weeks ago and there was always this one CD in all of the souvenier stores. I figured that since it was such a big hit in Edinburgh that I would be able to find it online somewhere. Well guess what... I'm kicking myself now because I can't find it and I dont remember the name.
All I can really tell you to give you a clue to what I'm talking about is that it has an orange cover, it's scottish bagpipe music, and it's all over the place in Edinburgh.
Hopefully someone from Scotland will answer me. Any help is greatly appreciated

Personally, I wouldn't go by what's popular in all the souvenier shops. They probably got them at a discount and are pushing them for a big profit margin. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have put out a new recording..I don't know if it's released yet, but possibly this could be the one. (?) I'm not a fan of the military pipebands, but I'd buy it to support them. It wouldn't be a 'bad' choice.
If you're looking for a soloist... Master Pipers is a good one along with any of the series of Pipers of Distinction. There are too many good band cds out there. FSU, Schotts & Dykehead, 78th Frasers, MasterBlasters by Victoria Police are some of the ones I'd get.
For those with the derisive comments about the pipes...it only shows how little you do know about music.
Try ebay ..... http://www.ebay.co.uk or .com
or http://www.google.co.uk or .com
so why is this in the music section.....:)
This should be under cruelty to ear drums
How on Earth can you listen to this groaning, wailing, out of key noise, let alone buy it to listen to.
