If I buy Kid A by Radiohead will it make me hate them?!
Question: I own both "OK Computer" and "In Rainbows". I think they're both excellent, but I heard "Kid A" is really bad and is basically only electronic "experimental" rock. Should I instead purchase "The Bends"?

If you love OK Computer and In Rainbows, then yes, The Bends is definitely the way to go. It's definitely one of my favorite albums by Radiohead, and one of my favorites ever for that matter. It rocks quite a bit harder than the two albums that you have also.
This isn't to say that Kid A is bad, cos it's not. In fact, it has one of my most favorite Radiohead songs on it, "Idioteque". But it just doesn't compare to The Bends for me.
Get both. I didn't like Kid A at first but the more I listened to it the more it began to grow on me.
purchase both the bends and kid a. they are both important parts of my music collection. i like kid a more than the bends.

Kid A is only electronic "experimental" rock, and it's great. You'll probably like The Bends more upon first spin but Kid A will grow on you.
