EP is an album but its not an official album. its more like a mixtape but its sold in stores. artist rarely used that unless they have a really good single with various versions. LP you should no what that is. and mixtapes are underground material recorded for the streets and not mainstream radio. this is where artist with exclusive songs not made for the album would showcase. and for cases like 50 cent his more hardcore street records are found on mixtapes.
