What do you prefer todays rock/metal or the good old stuff from 70s,80s&90s?!
Question: I gota say I love my Motorhead, Motley Crue, Guns 'n' roses, Twisted Sister, Metallica, Aerosmith, Queen, Iron Maiden, The Black Crows too many more to list really, I love all the good old stuff realy. What do you prefer?

Twisted sister are great, I saw them live a few years ago and it was incredible! Alice Cooper is awesome. Love pink floyd, the who, the rolling stones. Have you heard of W.A.S.P? You'd probably like them too.
I much prefer old music, it's all I listen too.
i am well into my 80's music but in fact i was born 83 and never listened to it when growing up just something i got into

Yeah, same as you but with a bit of Led Zep, Thin Lizzy & AC DC, I like some newer stuff like The Offspring but most of it is toss.
DEFINITELY the old stuff. Led Zep, GN'R, Def Leppard, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush, Thunder, Cinderella, Skid Row, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Rainbow, Damn Yankees, AC/DC, U2, Eagles, you're right, too many to list.
I love the old sh*t adding to yours, Warrant, La Guns, AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, I could go on..
The really old stuff - even just the 70's is best. Everything after that is just wanna-be's, and they did a lousy job trying to copy the GOOD stuff. You just can't beat the orginal.
Definitely the older stuff...Maiden best of all, but also Judas Priest, AC/DC, G 'n' R, Metallica, WASP, Motorhead.
I have to admit, I like it all, with the exception of about 94-99 because it was all -numetal bands that sucked
Most of the music I listen to spans 1960 - 1997 or so
70's 80's and 90's
70's and 80's..when bands didn't have to rely on samplings or sound bytes to make a great song
My favorite are 50,60, and 70s. Love 60s Motown as well, some of the best music ever made.
I don't limit my taste in music based on when it was released. I like old stuff, in addition to new stuff. One shouldn't assume that, as a rule of thumb, music released after the 90s is generally bad. All your doing is relegating yourself to not discovering new music for the rest of your life, and severely limiting the amount of live shows you are willing to attend. Since I generally have a profound appreciation for music, especially live performances, I wouldn't do that to myself.
Classic rock for me.
I love some 60's; The Doors, The Beatles,...70's rock; The Eagles, Styx, Led Zeppelin... & 80's metal like the bands you mentioned along with the heavier stuff like Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, etc. (I love the older stuff from Metallica, Motley Crue, Ozzy, & many others-their new stuff doesn't attracted me) I don't pay attention to the new music or todays bands that much-but I do love Slayer's new stuff)

It doesn't get any better than the old stuff! I lived through the KISS phenomena, and loved Aerosmith, Twisted Sister, the Rolling Stones, Zepplin, and AC/DC. The old stuff just keeps getting better!!
Love the "old" stuff too...G&R, Ratt, Cinderella, Sabbath, Ozzy, Metallica...they're all awesome!
the consensus is in..everyone loves old rock and hates the new crap!!!! i used to love headbangers ball in the '80's--any see that recently? holy crap, i never heard such garbage in my life...metal used to be meaningful back in the day
