What current Rock musician's life would make the best movie? Why?!

Question: Similar to a movie like "Walk the Line" about Johnny Cash.

Answers: Similar to a movie like "Walk the Line" about Johnny Cash.

Admittedly, not really a 'rocker', but Kris Kristofferson, has led a thousand lives (yeah, I know it shows), this man was an Army Airborne Ranger (like myself), his father an Air Force General; he was a Golden Gloves boxer; helicoptor pilot, Rhodes scholar; actor; singer; songwriter (see his catalogue that so many others made famous), ex is Rita Coolidge, political activist, tireless performer, and still a hell-raiser after all these years, look at who he ran with and continues to do so.

"Do the line".. about Britney

It would be a very different sort of movie, but I'd say Mick Jagger's.

Well Nikki Sixx already has the book The Heroin Diaries, so why doesn't he make the movie next????
Nikki is a pretty interesting person and I think he'd be fine making the movie from the book.

Well, I just finished reading Slash's bio (the guy from Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver) - and I gotta tell you, what a story!

I'd imagine that Robbie WIlliams would have some colourful and emotive stuff to make a movie about lurking around in his past...

george strait i like his music

I think Trent Reznor (NIN aka Nine Inch Nails) would be good for a rock musician. There is already tuns of stuff on the dude from Nirvana. Trent struggled with drugs, (stereotypical rocker maybe???) made music, have a trouble time dah dah dah. But now he is back to making music and is drug free. Thats the baseline that I know of. (No pun intended)

Kurt Cobain. I'm not a big fan of Nirvana, but having a gay friend, becoming one of the biggest stars during the beginning of Generation X because he was the frontman of one of the biggest bands of grunge and rock in general, Courtney Love, apparent suicide, the continued existence of Nirvana on modern rock radio stations, drugs, death at age 27, etc. When you think of Nirvana, you don't think of Dave Grohl. You don't think of Krist Novoselic. You probably don't even think of their music at first (unless you're a young teenage fan). You think of Kurt Cobain.

In fact, David Fricke of Rolling Stone called him the John Lennon of grunge. Now, grunge is only a subgenre of rock, but that's still pretty big.

Although I think there already is a movie kinda based on Kurt Cobain...

Otherwise, no one is quite that interesting. Maybe Paul McCartney...(he is technically current)? He should get shot or something. Maybe he'd become more popular than Lennon. Needs an interesting killer too.

none of them are interesting enough!

I'm gonna say Marilyn Manson here cuz he's had a pretty interesting life! Maybe Tim Burton should direct as well just for that added kick of wowness. I heard rumors a while ago that Tim Burton actually said he would like to do this which would be amazing!

OZZY- We already know he's entertaining and think of all the insanity that went on in his life before anyone ever heard of, or thought of "The Osbournes" show.
