A good guitar for beginners?!

what kind of music would u play? if u play general rock/pop music get a fender or something like that, but if you play rock, hard rock, or metal get an ESP guitar (thats what i have) personally i dont like fenders but its seems to be used for more pop type songs.
if u are looking for esp guitars that arent to expensive get whatever esp thats in the LTD Standard section. for example theres viper 50, viper 100, viper 200, viper 400,and viper 500. the lower the number the cheaper it is.

Fender Squier, pretty standard beggining guitar. Its pretty cheap, reliable and it's a Fender.

Yup. You may be able get a Fender Squier kit at your local music store for about $300. Should come w/ amp, dvd, strap.......the works. Good luck and be persistent!
