Bach was the Baroque period. He gave us the fugue and the invention and a lot of preludes.
Mozart was the Classical period. He wrote a variety of things to include some very wonderful operas. He wrote a requiem that is beautiful.
Beethoven was both the Classical and Romantic periods. His most famous are his 5th and 9th symphonies. Absolutely amazing. Probably my favorite of the 3.
It's hard to rank these three composers. Each were genius in their individual periods.
