Songs that you grew up with?!
Question: did you grow up listening to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers? The Eagles, Skynard? Rolling Stones?
I cant think of anything else at the moment. I still listen to all those now.. and im only 21... but they are really good songs that can never get old!!!!!

I thank God that was raised with Scorpions, Eagles and a few rock bands from my country. Could kill for a "Hotel California" played on a guitar by one of my friends :P. ((btw .... just been to a Scorpions concert in Romania :D .... I've been 2.5 m away from the band \:D/))
My boyfriend and I watched "The Wedding Singer" last night; those were the songs we grew up with. 80s music will never die, lol.

Oldies, classic rock, MTV, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Bonnie Raitt. When I was old enough to pick my own music and sequester myself with it, I chose hip hop, r & b, new country, folk rock, oldies, alternative rock, punk. Later I found myself going back sometimes to my mom's or dad's music though. :-)

I grew up listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Live, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Seven Mary Three, Candlebox, Collective Soul...you get the picture.
I still listen to all of these bands!!!
