What is your reaction to Kayne West mother passing away due to plastic surgery?!
Question: Regardless of HOW she passed, it's very sad nonetheless. And the thing about it is that she wasn't just "Kanye' West's mother". This woman was very accomplished in her own right. She was the chair of the English Dept. of Chicago State University, so she was a heavy-hitter in the academic world. I think there was even a time in Kanye's childhood where she had a teaching assignment over in China, and Kanye', of course, went with her. How many African-American boys do you know get an opportunity like that?

it's really shocking. but what difference does it make that she died from plastic surgery - the woman is dead. She's his mom and I feel bad for him b/c they seemed really close. It's sad when anyone loses their mother, imo....

Its very sad and it might make some think twice about jumpin on the plastic surgery bandwagon. My mom had a friend who died under the knife. That makes me think twice.

The first thing that came to my mind was "Are you serious!! That just goes to show you that having plastic surgery is nothing to casually do.
it is extremely sad, just think plastic surgery is a very lucrative business. think of all the people that get nips here and tucks there...any one of them could die from it. you would never think a non-major surgery would cause someone to die until it happens. think of all the people whom travel to Argentina and Mexico so that they can have these things done at deeply discounted rates... if she went to one of those places you would expect her to have some major complications and even die because they are not that sterile nor technologically advanced based on the things i have read about them. my heart goes out to the west family in their time of bereavement. i see that they said she was a doctor has any one heard what type (PhD, MD, dds, etc.)
