( What does color have to do with this question I'm asking myself after reading one of the responses) I don't know about her sounding like a wallabe, but I am no big fan of the song either. In my opinion it's kind of depressing. I love Alicia Keys as an artist, but this song....I don't like!!! Am I or the person that posted this question " hating on her"? NO, I think not!!!! Do we not have the right to dislike whatever song we like to? If you read correctly, the person that posted this said that they didn't like this one song, not that Alicia Keys is a bad singer. I think Alicia Keys is an amazing singer. A lot better than the songers that are trying to make it big.

OMG! Omg you guys! lol I had to do it. But I can't stand that song! She sounds like a man trying to sound like a woman. all she does in that song is hold out a deep note like she's straining herself. I change the channel every time I hear it. I like her other music, but this is my least favorite song of hers.
I like the song it's ok, not one of my favorites from her though but she doesn't sound like a dying wallaby. If she did I don't think she would have gotten this far she actually writes her own songs, plays the piano, and sings. Pick any one of those bubble gum airhead pop or so called "rock" stars and they don't even measure up to her talent if they have any at all.

She's a very lovely woman especially now that she is getting older and hs dumped those braids. but musically she is overrated. Her debut song " I keep on falling" sounds like a cross between "ain't no sunshine" and "its a man's world". To put it simply she's a boring artist! But among a pool of no talents shes a heck of a lot better than most today. But I would have to say Fiona Apple, Norah Jones and many others own Alicia Keys.
