What does the "full" with an arc after it mean in a guitar tab?!

Question: I'm trying to play some songs with tabs, but I don't really get what full means. There's also 3/4 and 1/2. Sorry if I'm acting like a complete idiot.

It's when you bend the note your playing.
1/2 means you bend it up half a step which means if it says 15 (then an ark with 1/2) it means that you bend it up to 16 but you stay on the same fret.

3/4 mean that you bend it up 3/4th of the way. Just bend it a little more than you bend it on 1/2.

And Full. Full means that you bend it up so that if your playing 15 then you bend it up to 17. a FULL step up.

If you don't understand I'll try to clear it up a little.

If you play a note on the 15th fret and you bend it toward you while playing it (if your right handed) it will sound the same as if you were playing the 17th fret on the same string. But it gives it an effect.

Sorry if you didn't understand. Search Guitar Techniques Bending or this website http://www.accessrock.com/AdvancedLesson...

edit: Don't listen to the other guys. Ozzy Osbourne fan is refering to 3 slide to 4 and a slide is written as a slash(/). If it says 1/2, 3/4ths, or Full above the arc then listen to what I said and what the website says.

3/4 means slide from the 3rd fret to the fourth
1/2 mean slide from the 1st fret to the 2nd

the full with the arc means a whole step bend (aka a bend up to the next step)

i THINK it means it's a bar chord, you know, with the index finger flattened against all six strings. i'm guessing, though.
