I really don't anymore, but I used to. I am his age, and it frightens me that he is so warped! I feel sorry for him and think he is a product of fame, his odd parents and abuse...but you didn't ask my opinion on his mental state!

Yes! His music IS and WILL ALWAYS BE outstanding. If you can remove the artist's personal lives from their art then there's no problem. If you can't (like most people and Barry bonds) then you lose interest. Personally, I can separate Michael mistakes from his music so I still enjoy listening.
The degree to which people listen to him, are probably related a lot to what he says. If you are talking about his music, it's still pretty popular among those who where kids or younger teens (maybe some young adults) during the 80's. He's the same age as I am, so that would make him ancient history to most kids these days.
Regardless of his orientation or his track record with boys, you have to give him credit for artistic originality.
