If the keyboard has a "synth action", IOW not weighted like a piano, it will feel much different and take a bit of getting used to. That is simply a matter of practice.
Electronic keyboards have the ability to play many different types of sound. You should become adept at choosing the appropriate sound for the music and switching to it quickly, especially in a live performance situation.
Depending on the keyboard you are using, the various wheels and data sliders have an effect on the sound and are programmable. Experiment with those. The results can be interesting.
Learn all you can about how the keyboard works. Digging in below the surface is much more gratifying that simply playing the preset sounds.
