Who done"My Babys Gone"?!

Question: I saw Marty is correct. The great duet of Ira & Charlie Louvin sang this great song. I remember some of the lyrics:

Hold back the rushing minutes, make the wind lie still. Don't let the moonlight shine across the lonely hill. Dry all the raindrops and hold back the sun my world has ended my baby's gone.

On Edit: The only others I know of that recorded it are Teddy & Doyle "The Wilburn Brothers"

A great song by the way and a good question.

Woke up this morning, my baby's gone
Woke up this morning, my baby's gone
I ain't had no loving since my baby been gone

I ain't got nobody to stay at home with me
I ain't got nobody to stay at home with me
I wonder 'bout my baby, what's gonna happen to me

My baby's gone, gone away from me
My baby's gone, gone away from me
My whole life is in misery

My baby's gone, gone away from me
My baby's gone, gone away from me
And now i'm worried taht you can see

The two gentlemen in my avatar -- Ira and Charlie Louvin.

Not sure if this is the right one, but it could be. Montgomery Gentry (two guys) do a song called "Gone". I've quoted the lyrics below and linked to the CD in the sources section.

This ain't no temporary, typical, tearful good-bye, uh uh uh
This ain't no breakin' up and wakin' up and makin' up one more time, uh uh uh
This is gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday
Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang
Gone like a '59 Cadillac
Like all the good things that ain't never coming back
She's gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone, she's gone

This ain't no give it time, I'm hurtin' but maybe we can work it out, uh uh uh
Won't be no champagne, red rose, romance, second chance, uh uh uh
This is gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday
Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang
Gone like a '59 Cadillac
Like all the good things that ain't never coming back
She's gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone
She's gone

She's gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone, she's gone

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday
Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang
Gone like a '59 Cadillac
Like all the good things that ain't never coming back
She's gone (gone) she's gone (gone) she's gone (gone) she's gone
She's gone

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday
Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang
Gone like a '59 Cadillac
Like all the good things
Well, she's gone

Long gone, done me wrong
Never comin' back, my baby's gone
Lonely at home, sittin' all alone
She's packed her bags and now she's gone
Never comin' back, she's gone
No no never, no no never, no never comin' back
