Would u guys listen 2 a commercialized rapper but has good skill?!

Question: Like would you listen 2 a pop-rapper but he's a good rapper. I have 2 admit I listen 2 Dipset especially Juelz Santana & Hell Rell, & JR Writer. I think they have skill. Although they make the same kind of material. Mistah FAB & Mac Dre have great skill although they rap about gettin' hyphy u can't say they suck really... Those rappers that I named actually have skill. It seems that most hip-hop heads like rap songs that are mostly meaningful or something... I'd rather listen 2 meaningful songs 2 but U need some fun sometimes right?

What if Soulja Boy had his Crank that song dance & actually had great skill. Like up 2 Mos Def's level. Would u listen & actually like the song?lol

To a certain degree. Don't get me wrong. I'm not some anti-mainstream crazed fool. But if they got skill sure. Just as long as they're not on the topic of partying everyday. You know, constant BS like that.

If Souljah Boy makes 2 classics then that'll be the day I'll listen to him. Has to be consistent. But he's still a whack ringtone rapper. Can't just make a couple tight songs and call yourself dope. It's more hard work than that.

Too bad Mac Dre is no longer with us. And hey, I'll bump some Compton's Most Wanted anyday. Hip-hop is about a lot of things. One of those things is being yourself. If you're a gangsta fine. If you're a revolutionary fine. But skills count.

I don't really care if the rapper is mainstream or underground..dipset sucks..except for the fact that they have 40 cal..who's pretty damn good..amd mistah fab is actually a decent rapper....(and a good freeseyler)....and I really don't care that much about what the song is about...either it's good or bad..the content doesnt make that much of a difference to me...

I think skill reflects on the type of songs you make the majority of the time. I've never heard a crap rapper talk about the bad state of mainstream music as of yet. But having said that i like cam'ron, i think he's entertaining and he's not a bad rapper. So yeah i would listen to a commercialised rapper with good skills.

Rappers do have skill..what are you talking about.
Mac Dre was the best bay area rapper, and still is! If he didnt have skill, then why do hella people still listen to him today? If you are a rapper with skill, then you should be able to rap about anything and and people would still love it.

Hell yeah..skill is skill commercial or not...but that Hell Rell album was weak...He is better on Dipset mixtapes...too much of him gets a bit repetetive...

Of course I would. I lisen to 50 Cent & Lil' Wayne don't i?

i dont think there is sucha thing as a rapper with skill

no
