Question: Roger Waters, no question about it. He was the brain of pink floyd, gilmour was only in it for the cash, he is a good guitarist though. Musically Waters !!! His solo carear is also amazing !! I love his album AMUSED TO DEATH.

Both are amazing musicians that made my tied-for-favorite band what it is. I'd give the edge to Waters because he made almost the whole The Wall album. Both are great guitarists and musicians though and it's a hard choice.

I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan and David Gilmour practically created the Pink Floyd sound, his guitar solos are so reconizable and even after Roger left, I still love the Floyd made. Momentary Lapse and Divison Bell were also wonderful, even if they didn't have Roger.
