Question: first of all when i first listened to that song i though that it was some joke not a real song .but then a few days later i looked up in the billboard top 100 and holy **** n crap it was actually the number one single!!!!!!!
i then looked up at its lyrics thinking they mean something that intersted people, but it had no meaning at all what so ever.
i mean honestly this song is only reinforcing racial stereotypes which i all ready am starting to believe. this song should have been enlisted as one of the worst songs in history but some shallow people actually listen to it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
and for those of you who like it _what do you see in it; it has no meaning to its lyrics ,its dance would have been laughed at if someone rehearsed it at shows like "so u think u can dance"
and it barely has music.
this isnt rap because rap is music about the ghetto life and it isnt hip hop since it has no real melody.

it's like the ghetto's macarena... no macarena is actually way better.

the song doesnt carry a messege or state any kind of point. ITS A DANCE STEP! if you actually listened to it like you said. you would understand that he is dictating a dance. if you ever seen the video, the dance is actually tight and its got a hard *** beat. so if you feel its reinforcing racial stereotypes than so is every other rap/hip-hop song out there and you are an idiot for asking such a dumb question!
