Relax. You are probably tensing up and tightening up as you go up the scale. Tensing up will not work for you. It will work against you. Try this the next time.

Make sure you have proper diaphragmatic breathing. Your abdomen area should fill like a balloon or feel fat on inhale, and when you sing your first note in the solfege syllable, don't blow out too much air. Reserve your air as you go, and don't blow the notes out. As you go up the scale, sing each solfege syllable as if you were "drinking" them, or as if they were coming to you instead of out of you. Make sure you have good posture, and don't tense up. Relax as you go, but give each note more energy as you go. That will keep you from tensing up.

If you are having problems with spacing on the syllable ti, give it more space inside. You can make the sound ti while opening inside (back) of your mouth and throat at the same time. Allow your tongue and your teeth to make the sound while the inside is still open. If you can keep space open inside, your last syllable do will be fine as well.

Good luck and remember, high notes are nothing to fear if you stay relaxed. Have confidence and go for it!

Just practice holding the highest note you can for an extended period of time, like when your in your car alone or something (that way no one has to hear your voice crack). Be sure to have enoguh fluids and to breathe as well. It's like a muscle, keep at it until you can push it to the next note, and so on.

dont go to high breath

Not everyone can hit a high note. Maybe you are an alto that can only reach say a middle A. Is the teacher asking everyone to go up high? Is she a voice teacher? I cannot imagine why she is taking a whole class and putting them all into the same category.

Be nice. Go up to her and say, could some of us sing this scale in a lower key? I am not a soprano but I may be an alto.

If the key is reachable by you, don't force it out. Make sure you are right on that note (on pitch) and bring the sound in to a soft sound.

However, if she will change the scale for you, you may not have to do that.
