I have no real plans and will probably stay close to home. My favorite is homemade dressing with giblet gravy. I used to watch the parade but haven't in many years. Gotta love the fantastic smells of Thanksgiving foods. That always seemed unreal to me that it took hours to prepare it and only minutes to have the meal over with.I always like the football games.I don't do the malls as I don't like all the pushing and shoving that goes on and I'm an old man who don't want to be trampled by an anxious shopper. Happy Thanksgiving to you Tex as well as all the other folks on here. Also a very Happy Birthday to you Tex.I hope you enjoy your special day.

10. Happy Birthday, I will have a piece of turkey in your honor!!!!

We usually go see family. Not this year. It'll be chicken and dressing for us with mashed potatoes w/gravy and fresh pinto beans and a good desert., We only like the white meat on the turkey so that would be a waste of good $$$$ on a turkey that will barely be eaten. My kids!!! and a job! We don't get up early on purpose. My 5 yr. old is a very early riser no matter what time she goes to bed, 3-4-5-am hours. So no sleeping in! We'll be up long before the parades start. We'll be watching the parades anyway. and cartoons all day along with a few holiday movies. We won't be going shopping. We've always had to wait to get what's left at the last minute. But we'll try to go to the park or see some lights at a Christmas lights park that opens on Thanksgiving day here. It's sort of a tradition. Except for getting the kids to eat hubby and I are usually done in 10 minutes. The kids don't give us time to enjoy our food very much.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday. Will be watching the Colts on Thursday, and shopping on Friday. Don't have to cook, just show up and eat - and help with the dishes. It's better that way, cuz I can't cook.

1. Same as always....Going to my mom's house to eat.
2. About a block up the street. I'm not going to call that traveling.
3. Not dish, but dessert. Pumpkin Roll. Mom always makes two, and my family eats almost all of both rolls. It's yummy.
4. Everything. My salvation, my family and friends, my health....What's being thankful only on Thanksgiving? I think you should be thankful everyday.
5. No...I outgrew that many years ago.
6. Mine smells like mashed potatoes, rolls, and cranberry sauce. We all contribute to the Thanksgiving meal.
7. I have no idea. It makes no sense.
8. No, I'm not watching football. We play cards. I'm looking forward to kicking my hubby's butt at hearts, though.
9. Maybe. If I go, it will be with my mother-in-law.
10. Why, thank you! Happy Birthday!!!!
