Does anyone remember the country artist Dave Dudley?!

Question: Dave Dudley is mostly associated with trucking songs and he did some good ones that have already been mentioned. One of my favorites is "My last Day In The Mines" and I too like the trucking songs he sang. Sadly he is no longer with us. I got to see and meet him in El Paso, Texas in the late 60's with his band "The Roadrunners" My oldest daughter was then only a little over a year old and I was holding her in my arms. She kept grabbing and touching the rhinestones on his jacket and I was telling her not to do that and Dave said "leave that baby alone cause she likes them and ain't gonna hurt nothing' A very nice man.
