What style of music should we play?!
Question: Well.. I am in a band with no style at the moment, the name of our band is Muspell Jutons, Muspell which is the world of Fire Giants in Norse Cosmology and Juton is another word for giant in Norse Mythology, and our lyrics is based off of high-fantasy...
Well, our drummer, wants to use double bass drums, but the rest of the band doesn't really want to... I think few songs with double bass would be ok, and some songs without it... But we really don't know what style of music we want to play.. I like to sing with high-pitched clean vocals, my voice sounds kind of like sounds like Queensryche in a way.. We do use many power chords, guitar riffs and solos that are inspired from bands like Pantera...
And we have a insane keyboardist, who actually makes our songs very uplifting during the chorus's just because of the keyboard sounds he does.

Make it a new genre.
or just play and dont classify it as a genre..
just play what you feel and people will make up their own opinion of what style it is..
punk is the definition of your own different style. so PUNK?? lol just play and dont worry about what style it is.
