I think that being very confident about your voice is very important. You need to start getting used to the sound of your voice so you can maneuver it to sound appealing to the ear. I used to be a radio DJ for my college station, so I know how awkward it is getting used to the sound of your own voice. Start practicing with your mic more, you'll get used to it.

Nas has always been a favorite of mine as far as delivery. The first time I heard him in 1994 I was blown away by his delivery because it was so unique.

how old are you?

practice, Danielsan!

oh wait, you might be too young to know what that's from.

Well the best advice i could give is just be yourself let it flow from the soul, the heart an the gut. Be real with whatever you rhyme about cause the last thing hip hop needs is another perpatrater. Try rhymin about daily life an its struggles, politics, your ups an downs with females or where u grew up an what your childhood was like. An dont wory about how your voice sounds; if you have a good message then people will listen no matter how u sound. And nas (in my opinion) is the best rapper when it comes to delivery. Just listen to illmatic the whole album will change ur mind( it was first 5mc rated album given to a rookie by the source which was phenominal). Biggie, Jay-z, Big L, Tupac, Common anKanye West they all have good delivery.

Yeah, like others said before me...practice! I would say practice a song that you already know (not by you) and record it. Alter your voice here and there until you like it. Then take a stab at your own songs and practice them.
My favorite delivery has to be that of The Notorious B.I.G. I was amazed when I heard Hypnotize.
"So I just speak my piece, keep my peace
Cubans with the Jesus piece, with my peeps."
^That's my favorite part, how he says it.

Off top homie say it like you mean it when you rap try to invision it that's way so many rappers rap about their life.If you don't remember nothin remember this its not always what you say but how you say it.Plus all rappers i mean all have alter egos you cant rap like you talk ,i don't know if you really want to learn more hit me up let me hear somethin and i will help if you want to.

i like kanye west's voice he doesn't obviously rhyme all that much. But who cares?? He rocks!

Do you listen to Eminem? You can learn alot from him. When I was growing up, I hated my voice to. So what I did was take a pillow and scream real hard inside it. Sounds crazy I know, but it works. What that does is, it conditions your throat. Repeat until you get the desired sound? If someone laughs, just remember that they laughed at the Wright Brothers when they invented the airplane.

listen to lil' wayne and JT's voice one hundred times then you will see your voice is nuthin...(or looking at birdman's picture and listening to his voice)

Definitely I love the style of tpain, lil kim, 50 cent, busta rhymes oh and paul wall. Tpain has a truly unique delivery and voice, although for realistic sake, lil wayne is a good example. First off, for each song, decide on a pace. Then make up some things that would make people go "niccccceee." For a song, stick of a main pace, put have some moments when your voice goes down and then up again, creating another "nicceeee' effect. Dont be afraid to play with the rhythm. And create some cool lyrics, such as in the song "shawty is a ten," i love that song and so does many people and for a good reason to. You should study a rap song and consider what makes people love it so much. In that song i love the part that goes "shawty is the sh-sh-sh-sh-sh suger honey ice tea" That creates a REALLY "nicceeee" effect. Y'aknow? Also its a good idea to add some r&b elements, such as in the song, and also in tpain and akon and sometimes 50 cent's songs too. Its rap, but has some parts that sound liek singing.
