Do you REALLY expect anything different? I am suprised that he made it this long. it is kinda ironic that "Pure Country" tells the absolute truth, but even the star of that movie has fallen to the "Country Stars" of today. Where is the sense of History that these so called Country fans have failed to get? when George Jones asked "Who's gonna fill their Shoes?" somehow i do not think it would have gotten THIS bad! Oh well, we still have the LP's and 650 AM still broudcasts!!!!!!!

I'm sure that George Strait was as happy for the youngster as if he had won himself! George Strait is a pure Gentleman in every way! I have been a fan of George Strait since 1981!

I have no clue who won?? Dierks Bentley??? I have to tell you, saw Dierks and George in concert a couple of years ago, and we should have left after Dierks...he was amazing and fun to watch, George was as boring as peanut butter, he leaned on his guitar (never even strummed it) he sang two songs to one section of the audience and then he sang two to the next and so on...I hardly even recognized any of the music and it was his 50 greatest hits tour...I like his music but his stage presence sucks.
