as of this date... cassidy is the best freestyler. makes horrible cds and is very commercial but theres no one better... i will take time to mention a few smack dvd rappers.. loaded lux murda mook t rex REED DOLLAZ
Most rappers dont actually freestyle, they just memorize lines they wrote and spit them as freestyles.
I can freestyle straight off the top and the only dude who goes off the top period is Jay-Z and now Lil Wayne, but Wayne sometimes is wack

Although he's not mainstream, Supernatural is in my opinion the best freestyle artist because of his delivery and rhyme scheme. In a close second, punchline king, Cassidy, takes the cake; the way he approaches the mic is like none other. And In 3rd., we have the surging Lil' Wayne, who seems to spew out mix-tapes faster than a Britney Spears divorce.
if you go to you tube and type in smack dvd. You will be able to see various freestyle artists.
Murda Mook and Serius Jones are the two crazy artists i would recommend
#1 - Jay- Z (true definition of freestyle.. he never writes his **** down) Sorry I kno people like to hate on him after 10 years of him being at the top, but hey, he's a hard dude to take down.
