Isn't an actor now?

I dont really know much about country music, sorry.

Was that Garth Brooks alterego?

Here's a website on him!

YES

I have a friend who's like the biggest fan. And he doesn't even live in the US. Anyhow, I know who he is.

Yes, he's also part of the group The Highwaymen. I love them. I've got their albums on my Ipod.

He made a couple of films with Babra Streisand and he has made many good recordings and sometimes appears on the Country and Western television awards.

He was song writer for a long time before he started recording on his own
He was also in the movie " A star is born" when they remade it with Barbara Streisand

Very good songwriter.

Yes, and you can still catch him on tv once in awhile. He was a well-known songwriter before becoming known as a singer, but not necessarily country...he has also been in quite a few movies as well. He is also quite intelligent, I believe he was a Rhodes Scholar, if I remember correctly.

remember? how could i forget? i love kris kristofferson!!

great sonwriter/singer/actor..

I see I'm too late again! But, Kris and I are both military brats! I remember him from "Rock Star" with Barbara Striesand. He used to be married to one of my favorite Cherokkes, Rita Coolidge (Your love is Lifting me Higher & Higher, an old Johnny Nash song). He was an original member of the Highwaymen! He wrote some of the most beautiful songs for country and pop singers ( from Janet Joplin to Johnny Cash)! The kind of songs that would bring tears to anyone's eyes. My three most favorites are "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down", "Help me Make it through the Night"...take the ribbon from my hair, shake it loose and let it fall), and Me and Bobby McGee! Kris and his music had soul!
