Does anyone remember the country artist Lefty Frizzell?!

Question: One would have to have lived in a cave when it comes to the classic country artists not to know or have heard of the great Lefty Frizzell. He could really put the heart and soul into a country music song back when country was really country. I had the pleasure of visiting with Lefty and one time when I asked him about all the people that had cheated him in the business he simply said "I have met some really nice folks and enjoyed what I have done so all it all it has been interesting" That really said a lot to me about him as a person who could have blasted everyone that done him wrong but instead he was focused on his enjoyment and the nice people he had met. Not many would have missed the opportunity to blast others if given the chance. Lefty never recorded a song I didn't like but some of my favorites are " Mom & Dad's Waltz" I Love You A Thousand Ways" "Always Late" "California Blues" and many others. The world lost a great one with his passing. I just wish he had taken better care of himself and would have taken his medication for high blood pressure and left the booze alone.
