Lessons from Auschwitz

This week on See Hear, we follow the emotional journey of two Deaf students, Kolsuma and Tim from Oak Lodge School in London, who visit the concentration camp at Auschwitz, Poland, to learn about the Holocaust.

They visit the gas chambers designed to kill thousands of people a day, and see for themselves the mountains of personal belongings taken from the dead.

Their visit was arranged with the Holocaust Eduational Trust, an organisation establised in 1988 with the aim of educating young people from every background about the Holocaust.

As part of a nationwide project run by the trust, students from all over the country visit the place where an estimated one million Jewish people were killed during the Second World War. Kolsuma and Tim, however, are the first deaf students to visit Auschwitz under the scheme.

This programme will be repeated in Sign Zone on Tuesday 13 November / Wednesday 14 November at 2.30am on BBC ONE.

Wow what a boring question!!!!!!!!!!
