I really like Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" CD. Some of the songs have a bit of a heavy-metal feel to them. If you're familiar with the metal band Savatage, you'll recognize the sound. A couple of the band members & their producer are in on the deal.
Another one that I like is from a rock/metal guitarist named Gary Hoey. He has a double-CD called "Ho! Ho! Hoey! The Complete Collection".
