Question: I have been looking at the songtexts from the 60's and so on. My teacher says that these Psychedelic lyrics are important to my degree. So, let me ask you guys and girls out there. Why exactly are these lyrics psychedelic?

i've never heard of that before. I've heard of psychedelic mucic. I'm assuming that he doesnt mean all lyrics from the 60s and stuff. My best guess is that the lyrics will be somewhat obscure have strange meaning. Some words might be used to replace other words. they might have incoherent structure. or have words that might relate to a drug or a drug trip the writer had. but the music really makes a song psychedelic, long spacey, experimental, not ordinary music.

because they were on drugs when they wrote them.
