MCR FANS: what do you think of this...ridicoulious, unfiar, or fair?!
Question: our guys MCR is being sued because they cancelled a show for Maine University because of medical problems and now they are sueing!! can you believe that. Thats completely unjustice!

Assuming this goes through, I think the record company can and should recompense the people for the costs of advertising that the university has now lost (and no, a make-up show doesn't cover it). I highly doubt the band itself would ever be forced to pay under any circumstances.
I think you'd care a bit more if it was YOUR money lost because of the incident, and 20K isn't just a little pocket money, even to a university.
EDIT: For the record, I am not an MCR fan, but a neutral third party.

wow...During the making of the music video for "Mama", that was when Bob broke his wrist! (i didn't know that lol) that video is going to be so awesome, it was directed by gerard! ^___^
that's fuckked up, and yeah, the record lable makes a lot of money off of everything they do, like almost none from the CDs go to them, and a bit more from concerts do and merch.
i think that's retarded and those idiots can rot in hell! i say them fuckk them and MCR should just like never go back there or something... no, that's not like them. ^_^

see the lawsuit should get turned over and ruled as dismissed because of the fact that there was a medical reason and they offerd another time and they turned it down so no need to worry about it, everything will be ok and i cant wait to see MCR again lol

MCR has every right to cancel, no matter what their personal problems are...especially if someone is hurt. And even if someone did have a problem with it... they offered to come back! These poeple are looking for any reason to get money it looks like. Very unfair.

Yeah, totally agree with you, just because they are famous doesn't mean they don't have accidents, I would sort of see why they's be angry if they said they weren't going to play there again, BUT THEY DID.. That was a well nice thing to do, and yet still they aren't satistfyied. The fans = gutted, but theres other time, the longer you wait the more excitment in it.
Anyways i hope everybody agrees this is unfair an we all still love you MCR <<3
omg! thats why they canceled the concert? i was supposed to go to that concert. i was upset that they canceled but its not that big of a deal. they should just move the show different date. its not bob's fault for breaking his wrist. it is totally unfair AND ridiculous. i sincerely hope that the Maine University lets MCR come here and play a show for us. alot of people would be upset if they didnt. maybe they should just come and play at the Cumberland Civic Center. its probably big enough and alot closer to me :) and other MCR fans.
