Because they are a record company band that was put together by some record company executive or producer and the record companies pay the radio stations to play that junk.

i think its just that they have sounded the same all along and havent change one bit.....im not saying i dont like them but it would be nice to hear some diferent stuff.....some nice difficult fast guitar riffs would be nice

They are ok. I prefer heavier bands like Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, etc. My brother thinks they sound like country, which I disagree with. They don't have a good guitar player, or they don't have good guitar parts whichever you feel is true.

Oohh I loooooove Nickelback. Lots of people hate them, but I still love them. I think they came out too late. Their sound is more mid to late 80's or early 90's.

SHUT UP ALL OF YOU NICKELBACK HATERS!! Nickelback does NOT suck! (Although I do have to agree with one of the Answerers, they kinda sorta sound alike in all of their songs.) Have you heard the one that guy did withSantana, "Into The Night"? That is the best song ever!! Okay, maybe that was a bit of exaggeration there, but my point is, they don't suck.
Nickleback doesn't really suck. They are actually pretty good.The fact that they are way overplayed makes them suck. I swear, every time i put one the radio i'll hear at least two of their songs. So i guess what i'm trying to say is the suck... but not really.
