Isn't "Never Mind The Bollocks" the greatest Punk Rock album ever !

Question: ABSOLUTELY it is without dougt the greatest punk record of all time.

Answers: ABSOLUTELY it is without dougt the greatest punk record of all time.

Good album, but I'd go with either Doolittle or Inflamable Material

Um... perhaps. But what about "Raw Power" by Iggy and the Stooges? Or ANYTHING by The Hives?

It would get my vote for sure. A seminal album that had massive influence on following generations. On par with certain other seminal albums in other musical areas for sure.

"Never Mind The Bollocks" is a British album. For "the greatest" you'll want to look to the original, American article...

Take your choice of the first half a dozen or so {or the collections}:

Iggy's sort of pre-punk.

I would agree. But I always liked Devo - Are We Not Men?

It definetly set the bar, but did the bar stay up? It's very good. I do love the Ramones though.

It's historically significant, but also very commercial for the time and doesn't hold up well today. More style than substance.

Personally, I prefer 'Fear: The Record', The Ramones 'Rocket to Russia', The Stooges 'Fun House', or The DK's 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables'.

But to each their own.

Wire's "Pink Flag".

I couldn't pick any one particular punk album as the best, but that one would be near the top.
