Why no Smashing Pumpkins, or System or U2...those are all rock bands, SP were one of the best rock bands during the 90's.
1979 by SP is a great song.
But other than that, Wont Get Fooled Again by The Who is a great one. So is Rock N Roll by Led Zep or Stairway to Heaven, which is the typical answer to this question.
