All You Lover and Haters?!
Question: I know MCR is a big issue in this section of YA. Almost every other question asked is talking crap or giving praise.
So I have a question for the lovers:
If there was one thing about the band you could hate, what would it be?
And for the haters (like me):
If there was one thing about the band you could at least try to love, even a little, what could that be?
There are a lot of you on here. Don't be scared.

I love them myself but I do hate how a lot of them go against me being a Christian. I have to skip some of there songs when listening
My Chemical Romance, right? Yeah, I've heard of them, but I never heard their music, so I can't really junde them. I don't like the way they dress though.
I don't think My Chemical Romance is particularly a bad or good band. They have a very distinct style, although it's not very original, but they stick to it. Some of their songs are catchy, but I particularly don't like the lead singers voice, which is my favorite part of most bands.
I think they are an alright band that some people should like and some should not like, but I don't think they should be on the top list at all.
I've never actually listened to MCR.
From the sound of things, they probably wouldn't be to my taste BUT, that is no reason for me to say other people shouldn't like them ~ so I don't!
GREAT live band. Amazing musicians.
Though their music videos are always bad. They try so hard for something amazing and they're almost there, then they seem to give up. The video for 'Ghost Of You' had to be their best. Or that's just Marc Webb's treatments...
Either way, to be a great band in my eyes, they need good music videos.
One thing I can try to like:
At least they write their own lyrics and play their own instruments.
Ahh. Mcr rock. I love them.
But one thing to answer the lovers question is. . . .that they've changed their style of music too much on my opinion. And now I think they don't put as much into it as they used to. It's like their just playing to get more fans. Not to reach out to people. But I still love them.
I'm their fan, so...
umm, I think it would be the band members' behavior, maybe. cause I think they do alot of bad things, lol.

Ok, I got one thing. If the stereotype of cutting and bleeding is to be believed, maybe this is something to be loved. Perhaps MCR will engage in this ritual themselves and we could finally be rid of this shameful poser band.
i hate that the their merchandise online is so expensive
every body will have they're own opinions. for me, i cant stand them, i cant even bear to listen to them..thats just my opinion.
i have to put up with all the hairbands haters out there and thats allright, they have they're opinions.
so if you like them go ahead. (mostly younger people) like them anyways.i think they'll drift away like most poppy trend bands do in a couple years any way...they're the "bubble gum" of right now ....
I vote apathy but i will answer the Haters question: Toro is a good guitarist and Way is a good singer (although unoriginal and poor lyrics).
the only song i've heard is "Dead" it's good but now that i listen to it again............................it's not that great. they really don't match my style and they sound alot like other bands in their genre. maybe if they tried to be different and not be the same as every other band, i think i would listen to them. but i probably wouldn't.

if i had to try very hard to love very slightly something about them, i guess it would be that they suck tangibly less than fall out boy.
i'm a big fan of mcr's so this is hard.
i'd say.....i hate that while they're good and deserve a lot of fans, they somehow ended up with a ton of obnoxious fangirls who only know songs from the black parade, or just the singles on the radio.
